Just as I was (opportunistically) thinking of providing some music in podcast form, I noticed that the Opsound site had been revamped, and now provides a podcasting feed for every artist. So for you podcast addicts, you can go to the bottom of my Opsound page where you’ll find the RSS2 link.
I don’t own an iPod or other portable MP3 player, so maybe I’m missing something, but once again, I don’t get it. Web content can be viewed in a browser, a newsreader, iTunes, QuickTime, etc., and it’s great to have so many choices. So podcasts (maybe) eliminate a few steps for getting audio content into your iPod, but is that enough to justify the hype?
Still, I intend to mess around with the concept to make up my mind…
