How Do I Look?

I’ve been so tired of the bare-bones look of sknoblog for such a long time, so a couple of days ago, I decided to give it a facelift.

I’d been putting it off in hopes of finding the time to do a comprehensive overhaul, upgrade from the old WordPress 1.5 to a 2.x version and more, but that just seems too ambitious given other priorities.

So this will have to do.

In fact, it really will have to do, because I accidentally mauled the previous design (overwrote the CSS file), so there’s no going back.

The new design combines two incompatible ideas: the flat, paper-collage look, and the perspective on the logo. Still, I thought I’d be politically incorrect (design-wise) and combine them anyway (I’ll have to see how long I can stand it).

I may still tweak things in the coming days, but by and large, this is going to be the new sknoblog for a while.
