Just completed another contribution to a Sons of Sarookh piece (as always, initiated by Matt Love). I don’t know if and when this new song will make it in one form or another to the Sons of Sarookh page on SoundClick but in the meantime, since this is my third contribution to the Sons, I…

www.dontclick.it
www.dontclick.it is an experiment in user-interface design which aims to do away with mouse clicks. While I’m far from convinced of the evil of mouse clicks, this is for the most part quite nicely done and thought-provoking (in the narrow realm of UI design).

Maybe you’ve seen this already as it has been all over the Web, but in case you missed it, check out Meet the world. From the site: Icaro Doria is Brazilian, 25 and has been working for the magazine Grande Reportagem, in Lisbon, Portugal, for the last 3 years. He is part of the team…

Just a quick note to say that « Leather Jacket » and « Playground of the Baby Giants » are now available on Opsound, one of the very first « copylefted » music sites to crop up on the Web.
Guitar, part V
So that’s where I’m at with music-making on the guitar: No more cuttin’ and pastin’. For the first time in my life, I know how to play and instrument well enough to play my songs live. I’m learning how to sight-read, and I’m hunting for a decent instrument. I wish I could force myself to…
Guitar, part IV
You’ll remember from part I that all of my progress so far had been achieved using a barely functional electric guitar that I picked up for a lousy two bucks on a flea market. When it started to become clear that I might have a future with the guitar, I started to wonder about getting…
