Remote Possibility: Kazoopalooza

Nearly a month without a new Remote Possibility release! I thought I was going to go nuts!

But I’m relieved to report that the wait is finally over. They’ve just posted a new, inspirational instrumental: Kazoopalooza.

The backstory, once again, is most illuminating :

Icepac was experiencing an extended period of ennui and other French emotions. He was unemployed, and he could not find a publisher for his novelization of his Australian misadventures (see the notes on « Canowindra » for more details. While Sknoblogger took on some honest work to pay of debts incurred during that time (the overdue library book fines alone were astronomical) Icepac sat in his house eating popcorn and drinking Guaranà Antarctica soda and wondering how everything went sideways. Fortunately he put on on a CD of Iggy Kazoo’s classic album, « I wanna be your Kazoo. » He was so inspired by the Iggster’s extraordinary rendition of « Kazoopolooza » that he ran to his basement studio (turning his ankle in the process) and recorded the instrumental verson heard here.

Thank you Remote Possibility. I am so grateful for your existence.
