As an experiment, I’m implementing the Google Reader Shared Items « web clip » feature in my sknoblog sidebar.
When you browse your news in GR, you can share an article by clicking on a « Share » button, and the article is then automatically added to a personal Shared Items page (I had already linked to this page in the links section of the sknoblog sidebar, but this is arguably a livelier approach).
On the downside, I have little or no control over the appearance of these links (I hate that space before the « Read more… » link. Grrr…), and I’m wondering if including this script might not negatively impact page loading speed.
Time will tell…
In the meantime, these are convenient links to items of interest that I hope you’ll « enjoy ».
And of course, as soon as this post pops-up in my Google Reader, I’ll make it a Google Reader Shared Item for a little recursive fun. 😀
